    "ACT is the professional subject association for those involved in citizenship education. This website offers resources and information to help you deliver excellent citizenship education."
 
 

Finding citizenship education books using the Library Online Catalogue

The University of Ottawa Library Online Catalog is used to find titles availabe at the Faculty of Education Resource Centre (FERC)

  • Use the title and author search when you wish to locate a specific title.
  • The bibliographic record of the book will contain the information you need to locate it on the shelves
  • The keyword search screen will allow you to create more complexe searches combining fields such as keyword and subject to find results relevant to your topic.
  • Useful subjects for citizenship education related material include: citizenship - study and teaching, multicultural education, civics - study and teaching, democracy - study and teaching; critical pedagogy; 
  • You can limit your results to materials found at the Faculty of Education Resource Centre.
