A growing number of publishers of children literature websites offer resources for teachers such as lesson plan ideas and reprodicible activity sheets to use with their publications

- Heinemann (UK) There is useful information on this site, though it requires a free registration before you can enter some sections. Imprints include Heinemann Educational, Rigby, and Ginn.
- Houghton Mifflin Consult the Librarian/Teacher section for classroom resources.
- Simon says Kids Simon & Schuster's website for children's books. There are resources available for parents, teachers.
- Teachers @ Random Includes teachers guides for their publications. Material organized by grade levels.

- The Magic Suitcase Offers curriculum-related picture books and resources, evaluation of featured titles, including teaching ideas and recommendations and a searchable database by curriculum area, subject theme, character traits and IB learner profile traits.
- S & B Books The School section offers lists of suggested readings by themes, and levels. Keeps track of the various awards nominees.
- Scholastic Canada The Education site offers interesting curriculum resources. (no free stuff)
- Tundra Books In the Teacher Resources section, you'll find activity guides for their publications.
